June is skin cancer prevention and early detection awareness month. Several women in our book regretted having too much sun while growing up. From Liz, Age 67, "I didn't use sunscreen. I am paying for that right now. I've had a few skin cancers and a lot of precancerous conditions on my face, so now I must have medical facials." ... From Barb, Age 73, "You know, when you were a young kid, did you put sunscreen on your face? I mean, they didn't have it back when we were growing up."
